Coach Hire confirmation: Once Fitzpatrick Coaches confirms your booking, a contract is made between Fitzpatrick Coaches and you upon the terms and conditions set out below.
When your booking deposit is received, we will issue you with a reservation confirmation stating the deposit amount received and details of when the balance is due. Full payment is due four weeks before the travel date.
Change of Vehicle: The company reserves the right to provide a larger vehicle than specified at no additional cost. The company reserves the right to substitute other vehicles of similar quality including those of other operators, for all or part of the journey.
Passenger Property: The company will not accept liability for any damage to or loss of any property which belongs to passengers and left in a vehicle. We recommend that passengers remain vigilant and that no personal effects or items of a relatively expensive nature should be left on seats or on the racks when the coach is unattended.
Safety and Behaviour: The driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle. Any passenger whose conduct is in breach of statutory regulations may be removed on the driver’s authority. All passengers must remain seated at all times, wear seatbelts and behave in a proper manner for the overall safety of all passengers. Travelling with children, it is the responsibility of the adults/ teachers/ group leader to ensure these rules are adhered to and followed.
Many of our coaches have toilet on board. Please NOTE that they are designed for emergency use only.
The company will not accept liability for injury, damage or loss to any passenger walking around on the coach, entering or leaving whilst the vehicle is in motion.
The aisle must not be obstructed in any way.
Do not operate emergency doors except in the case of an emergency.
Hot food and beverages are not permitted on our coaches under any circumstances, for the safety and comfort of our passengers we enforce a strict no smoking and no alcohol policy on board all our coaches.
Damage to the Coach:
When you book with Fitzpatrick Coaches you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you.
You are liable for any damage that is caused to the coach. You are liable for cleaning charges resulting in the improper behaviour while on board. We respectfully ask our passengers to ensure all rubbish is placed in rubbish bags, which are available on board.
Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid at the time direct to the driver, accommodation owner/ manager or other supplier. If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions.
Cancellation of your booking must be by email to Fitzpatrick Coaches – firstname.lastname@example.org
You are entitled to a full refund only if you give us 28 days’ notice of your intention to cancel.
If you choose to cancel within 28 days before travel, no refund will be granted. Within 28 days of departure, you can choose to change your departure to another date or have a transfer voucher issued to you.
If the reason for your cancellation is covered under your insurance policy, you may be able to make a claim under that policy.
For private hire bookings, the following terms apply;
- 28 Days’ Notice: Full Refund
- 14 Days’ Notice : 50% Refund
- 7 Days’ Notice: 25% Refund
- Less Than 7 Days’ Notice: No Refund
